Food and Ink!

A sunny day, delicious food, a cold beer and the opportunity to get out the sketchbook. Perfect.

Here are some sketches from a recent visit to the Yorkshire Food and Drink Show in Millennium Square, Leeds. The annual event features something to tantalise the tastebuds of any foodie fan. Italian, Greek, Indian, Thai and good old English fish and chips they all kept the crowds well fed. And with beers, both local and international as well as champagne and cocktails there was plenty to whet your whistle too.

The event also featured cookery demonstrations on the main stage with plenty of tips to take home and try.

In fact the only downside was the difficulty in finding the best place to sketch away from stray elbows and spilt curry and beer.
